Falawater Pippin
Origin: Bucks Co., Pennsylvania before 1842 Ripens: Oct Zone: 3 - 6
Fruit large to very large with dull green skin shaded with red and bronze. Flesh is greenish white, tender, coarse and juicy.

Small, unattractive, yellowish green or golden russet apple. Very good eating and drying.

Large conical fruit. Green skin with scarlet stripes and sometimes a mottled orange flush. Crisp, sweet, juicy greenish white to yellow flesh. Not flat or mealy. Sweet subacid flavor. Excellent dessert apple. Good keeper. Resistant to cedar apple rust. Tree is vigorous and hardy.

'Fortune' is a hybrid of 'Schoharie Spy' x 'Empire'. It is a large, red apple with yellow flesh which is excellent for eating fresh. Trees are usually very vigorous.
Franklin

Well-colored fruit. Tender, crisp flesh, mild flavor. Resembles shape of Delicious, but far superior in eating quality.
