Karen and I spent the day at the Gillett orchard cutting scionwood from many varieties of heirloom apples.  There's about a foot of snow in the orchard with drifts to 1 1/2 feet so everything is done on foot.  Temperature was great and we were able to make up for part of the delayed start yesterday due to the snow.
